The Department of Mental Health shall research the demographic profiles of persons receiving treatment under the Forensic Conditional Release Program. The evaluation shall include the effectiveness of treatment programs in preventing recidivism.
The Department of Justice shall provide mental health agencies treating mentally ill criminals with their criminal histories. Staff with access to the criminal histories shall maintain the confidentiality of the information.
