Penal Code 11170(b)(9) (1980; amended by AB 247, 2009)
Summary:
The Department of Justice shall make available to a county child welfare agency, delegated county adoption agency, or a government agency conducting a background investigation, information regarding a known or suspected child abuser who is seeking to work or volunteer with the particular agency in a position that will have direct contact with children who are at risk of, or have suffered, abuse or neglect.
