Contracting Opportunities
The process for securing HIPAA vendors will be open, competitive, and cost effective to the state. The CalOHII Web site will be the key point of information for any HIPAA procurements. As CalOHII and State Departments are ready to issue contracts, the Statement of Work (SOW) and Request for Offers (RFO) for each contract will be posted for a minimum of five working days. This is to allow vendors to review the scope of work and determine if they wish to submit a bid for services. These procedures are effective with the issuance of a CalOHI Policy Memorandum # 2002-10 as revised 11/15/02.
