The California Health and Human Services Agency (CHHS), Office of Health Information Integrity (CalOHII), announced today that the state of Alaska joined the Western States Consortium (WSC) Governance Body, becoming the latest participant in a formal governing process that establishes policies and procedures that enable the secure transfer of electronic health information among states.

The Privacy Steering Team (PST) is currently recruiting for one new member to fill an open vendor representative position on the PST. The time commitment for this steering team is not expected to exceed 20 hours per month, which includes monthly PST meetings and weekly task group meetings.
